Since we all wear a variety of Powerlifting gear I thought I would take the time to tell you my history of wearing INZER ADVANCE DESIGN gear.

I originally started wearing Marathon gear when I started Powerlifting in 1984. Later on in the mid 90's I slowly started moving over to Inzer gear. Marathon gear eventually went away because George Zangas went thru a bad divorce and lost the business which was too bad. Everyone really liked Marathon Gold medal wraps, and marathon suits.

The Inzer gear I wore in the 90's were the Champion and Z-suit and the Inzer Blast shirt. Later on I started wearing a Heavy Duty or HD Blast shirt. Then the HPHD or High Performance Heavy Duty Blast shirt then finally the EHPHD or Extra High Performance Heavy Duty Blast shirt. Long names. Wore the EHPHD for quite a few years and then finally went with the Inzer RageX about 4 or 5 years ago. Used the Inzer Hard core squat suit for many years since early 2003 I believe. Just switched to the new Inzer TRX squat suit in 2008. I'm trying out the Inzer Fusion deadlift suit but can't seem to find the groove with it.

Inzer gear has worked for me for over 15 years so why change to anything else. I don't like tight suits and I'd rather wear a loose suit regardless if I lift less. I hate tight squat and deadlift suits. I also don't wear any groove briefs which are allowed in the uspf. If you wear them you'll know why. That's it. I'm pretty happy with my Inzer gear and don't need to change. Too me Powerlifting is about getting strong and less about the gear. Gear is like nitoglycerin in a race car. If you don't have a good engine/body to start with then you won't be competitive.
